i want to sell my boos to them but i don’t want to lose the book if i don’t get anymoney for it
can anyone help???
i just don’t want to get ripped off
School is starting, but I can’t find any of the books I need online. Where would be the best place to look? I have tried eBay, Half.com, Amazon, Cheapbooks, etc. Anyone know of any different places?
I’ve been comparing prices for my textbooks in the stores around my college (and in) as well as online. I usually get them online because the prices are so much better (on the used amazon sections) but I was jut wondering if anyone else had some money saving tips. I checked out cheapbooks.com because i saw it on a commercial but it sucked. All it gave me were links to ebay auctions.

I am going to a community college this fall, and I have heard that one should wait until after the first class to buy all the books. Would anyone else recommend this?
I’ve been wanting a lot of new books but just don’t have the money to pay retail price. i could buy them off of amazon for like 75 cents, but amazon charges .99 shipping for EVERY book! i looked all over the internet, but couldn’t find a reliable source for cheap used books. I would like to find a site that sells books for as cheap as amazon does, but the shipping would cost for the whole package not every book.

I want to find some of the Nancy Drews in hardback. I looked on Amazon used books, and although the books themselves are only one cent a piece, they cost 4 dollars a piece to ship, EVEN if you’re buying from the same seller.

Joe Tex – Buying a book
I love reading and now that I’m buying all my own stuff, I’ve spent a fortune on books. I just want to know if maybe there’s a way to get books online and read them for free, or if I can like pay a one time fee and read books from the site, or some way I can get free/extreamly cheap used books. Thanks!
Not Manga.

I rarely buy new books because I cant afford to. Is there another way to show support for an author?
Any type of books, fiction, non-fiction, reference, ext. Preferably groups of books, as opposed to single books. I have tried eBay, garage sales, and a local gently used book store, but I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions on how to get large quantities of books cheap? Thanks
bravenewbookstore.com Austin Bookstore Brave New Books was founded in the summer of 2006 and has been fighting against the enemies of the Constitution ever since. The bookstore has been very active locally, hosting screenings, speakers, and even helped sponsor the first national conference on false-flag terrorism in April of 2007 called Rebuilding Americas Senses Understanding False-Flag Terrorism To Prevent the New 9/11. But the bookstore is more than just a place to buy books & DVD’s, or to learn new things. We try to offer more than just information to people. In an age of increasing government surveillance and intimidation, we want the bookstore to become a place where people can be comfortable speaking their minds, exchanging ideas, and forming alliances so that the citizenry as a whole may become more aware of how vast we have grown and how far we have come. For our online customers, we want to replicate that sense of community and strength in numbers aspect of our brick-and-mortar store in Austin. To do this, we will dedicate time and energy into making the site more interactive, providing a book-blog where people can post info on a particular book or DVD and others can respond and discuss it—sort of like an online book club. We will also give people the opportunity to leave reviews on any of our titles, provided that they remain respectful. The website will also feature a wide variety of links to other sites ranging from news sites, to blogs, and even to other …
