I mean actual stores not online.
Barnes & Noble is quite expensive. Although they have big bargains too.
Books A Million is expensive as well even with a discount card.
Amazon is only online.
What stores sell cheap books like half priced?
And, I don’t like the library.

I would search online for used bookstores in your area. We have quite a few in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Also thrift stores, Goodwill, Salvation army all have used books. Garage sales are also good for used books that are inexpensive.
sometimes antique stores have somewhat modern but cheap books. We have an Adventure’s Underground here in WA but I think it’s pretty much local.
Um… I don’t know what you have there in the US, but here in Canada, in Toronto, there are a number of quality Used bookstores, like BookCity or other independent shops.. you should look into those.
Here in the DFW area we have Half-Priced Books. They will also buy back books.
Goodwill or any thrift store will have lots of cheap books. Sometimes the selection isn’t great but when you find something you want it is really cheap usually less than $1.
Well, if you’re not looking for a specific book, thrift stores like ARC and GoodWill are good. Or you can order them used from like bn.com or borders.com
Why not try a 2nd Hand Book Store? Yes, I know it sounds dorky and half the books in there aren’t in the best of conditions… but, you get what you pay for! They are super cheap and you may even pick up an awesome book!!!
What is wrong with the library? Its is FREE! Can you honestly not handle the library so much that you can’t enter it for a book cheaper than anywhere else.. quite honestly you won’t find a cheaper way to read a book!!! Unless you borrow a book from a friend!!!
Good Luck on your Cheap Book Hunt!!!
=D
thrift stores and you’d be surprised how many used book stores there are! just google some w/ your area like ‘used book stores in…’ and find some, or goodwill. I got a game guide for 50 cents that would be 20.00 in other places.
I mostly buy books from the link given below:
Try once, I think, the cheapest:
