I loved the old fashioned comic books as a kid, and now it seems like theyre no where to be found.. And when i do find them, they are not cheap. I want a bunch.

dollar bins do totally rock!
you could also go with bittorrents. but that all depends on if your just in for the reading side of it, or the actual collecting side.
you can also find trade paperback editions of many different types of comics.
meow.
You can buy them at a good comic book store online, try mycomicshop.com or look for a comic book shop in your local area, they usually have dollar bins or something. Find a local shop at http://www.comicshoplocator.com/
Any comic book store should have dollar bins full of comics, some will even have comics for a quarter, but I recommend the Marvel Essential and DC Showcase Presents series. Both are black and white reprint collections with around 25 comics each for $10-$15. You can find them on Amazon or anywhere else.
Collectors often sell lots of comics and manga on Ebay for less than the cover price. You also might have some luck perusing garage sales and second hand shops. As for comic specialty stores, in my experience, they tend to charge more since they know more about the product they are selling. The exception to this rule is conventions: often times, one can buy comics and manga with 20-30% off the cover price depending on the dealer, more so if the title is uncommon.
